Can a creditor report negative information on your credit report after you file Chapter 7?
I have two accounts that are still being reported negative as of 5/31/2011. They do say Chapter 7 at the bottom of the list but it also says derogatory and has a recent date listed all of the other accounts say paid. My bankruptcy was discharged in April of 2010 and these accounts were listed on the bankruptcy. Also a judgment was filed on one of these accounts against me after i filed bankruptcy. Does transferred to another lender on your credit report mean the same as paid?
I have been going thru my credit report and disputing information not listed properly. Most have not been a problem however I have 2 accounts that were listed as charge off, transferred to another lender or sold both are showing a zero balance and were paid in full to the law office that the orginal creidtor told me to pay. I have disputed this twice now and was told by all 3 bureaus to send the receipt in and it is still not fixed. I called again today to one of them and the man told me that it was listed properly since the term- transferred to another lender and paid mean the same thing since a zero balance is showing. I don’t think they mean the same as paid means paid and without that word in there to me it appears that it hadn’t been paid. This has been going on for 2 1/2 yrs now with these two companies and I am at a loss as what to do now-any help is greatly appreciated."

Hello My husband credit score is 600, and we want to use his name on the mortgage loan. because his credit score is better than mines. well in 1yr or 2 we would like to buy our first home. but in order to get my husband credit score to go up what should he do. Someone stole my Debit Card information! HELP!?
I went to the mall today and spent 100 with my debit card in 3 different stores. I check my bank account online daily to verify the transactions and make sure I stay on budget. Tonight when I did that I almost dropped dead when I saw 3 pending charges in my account for a total of $1000!!!! I have the receipts of the small purchases I made and of course I did not authorized those purchases…they were actually made in a store at a different mall…a store where I have never bought anything at all! I called the number on my debit card a told the representative that someone stole my card number and were making purchases and she cancelled the card and told me to talk to my bank. I couldn’t talk to the bank because they were close. I’m going to go tomorrow with all my receipts and tell them what happened…the transactions appear pending….do you think the bank can stop those payments and secure my money? I’m really scared…that’s my rent and my electricity payment…I’m going crazy here!

Wells Fargo closed my credit card account?
I’ve been banking with Wells Fargo for about 3 years. I have a checking, a savings, and I had a credit card with $1000 credit line as well. I’ve been abroad and I don’t have much access to internet and phone, but yesterday I discovered that Wells Fargo closed my credit card account. I called and they told me that the reason why is because I apparently missed two payment cycles and they won’t let me reopen the account, even though I paid the full amount a month ago! I’m fed up with this crummy, unreliable bank and I’m not sure what to do.
